Samples/ Freebies/ Letters

Here is a free sample from Alterna Hair Care:

Here is a new free MP3 download from Wal-Mart:

Here is a free sample of Windex Multi-Surface Wipes from Wal-Mart as well:

I was reading on another blog about how people sometimes are given a hard time by clerks about their Internet Printable coupons (particularly SmartSource) when they go to the store. Here is a good letter to keep with you in your coupon organizer, in case such a thing should happen to you. (I have been fairly lucky so far, and have had very few run-ins with clerks to date, however, I am keeping a copy of this one, just in case. You never know.) That letter is here:

For those of you with a wee one in diapers, you may want to check out what Adventures of Frugal Girl has to say about Pampers Gifts to Grow Rewards Program - she rated it with Pros and Cons (something I always find useful) here:

Go here to get some free MP3 downloads of childrens books for your MP3! It's to support RIF, and children's literature. Go here and scroll down to the bottom to RIF and click. You will be directed to the free downloads. Very cool.

I love your blog! I have used many of the coupons you have posted. Just FYI, from now until Oct 5, Kmart is having double coupon days where they will double any coupon up to $2 in value. Nestle bagged halloween candy is on sale 2 bags for $4. I used my $1 off coupon, which doubled to $2 and since I had 2 coupons, I got 2 bags for FREE! Yippee! Also, there is a coupon for $1 off Kellogg's Smart Start Strawberry Oat Bites cereal. I used that at Kmart, which doubled to $2 off. The cereal was originally $3.99. I paid $1.99 out of pocket (using the coupon) and will fill out the rebate form at for a free box. Does this mean I just made $2.00??? :) -Merrilee

Thank you for finding my review useful! :) I'll return the favor with the printed coupon letter. I thought that was very interesting.
